The Water Does Wonders website was created by the Ontario Society of Nutrition Professionals in Public Health (OSNPPH) in partnership with 11 Healthy Kids Community Challenge communities. Our Commitment
Ontario Society of Nutrition Professionals in Public Health (OSNPPH) are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information when you are using the Water does Wonders website. This Privacy Statement explains the current information management practices on our website.
Personal Information
Information voluntarily submitted by website users via the pledge form (ie, name, city, postal code) is used to help OSNPPH and participating Healthy Kids Community Challenge communities measure engagement with the Water does Wonders pledge. Website users who opt in to be recognized for their pledge, will have their name, city and pledge level displayed on the public Hall of Pledges page. The email you provide is used to generate one automated email that confirms your pledge and provides you with related resource links. Website users can opt in to receive additional Water does Wonders updates via email. Information from users is only maintained as needed to fulfill the stated purpose. We do not sell, rent or provide your personal information to outside organizations.
Aggregated Non-Personal Information
Although not a disclosure of personal information, OSNPPH may share aggregated and/or non-personal or anonymized data, including participation statistics and number of pledges signed, gathered through the site with third parties. This means that OSNPPH will only share information that cannot be used to identify you, your family, or your organization.
Using “Cookies”
Like many other web sites, the Water does Wonders website uses an Internet tool called a “cookie”. Cookies are small bits of data that we send to your computer to track visitor activity on our site. This information is used to help us develop content that responds to the interests of our site visitors.
Tracking IP Addresses
An IP address (Internet Protocol Address) is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are using the Internet. Web servers – the computers that “serve up” Web pages – identify your computer by its IP address. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to report aggregate information on the use of our site. When you request pages from our site, our servers log your IP address. We can and will use IP addresses to identify a user when it is deemed necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use and License Agreement or to protect our service, site, customers, or others’ privacy from those that might abuse such.
Web Analytics
In order to serve you better, we use web analytics services to help analyze the use of our website. This tool uses cookies to collect and generate information about your visits to our site (including your IP address) that is transmitted to servers in an anonymous form for processing. We study patterns of website activity so we can improve the experience of visitors to our site.

We have taken steps to make sure all information received from our online visitors is as secure as possible against unauthorized access and use.
